I accidentally ended up at the World Trade Center, first time back in NYC after it’s been build from ground zero. They did a remarkable job. Couldn’t help but pay respect to the lost ones. 9 11 will never be forgotten but this city didn’t back down, they surly forged ahead with their plans in honoring the nearly 3000 innocent souls that were taken away that faithful day. May your beautiful souls continue to Rest In Peace.

Happy weekend ! My NYC View! It’s been a while since I was last here. Great to be back with all the food truck smell, subway rides, dancers, drummers dreamers, actors, models, money chasers, great restaurants, different faces, and cultures all mixed in one big pot, now this is New York City.

Do not fall for the stereotype that if you look a certain way you cannot achieve certain things. As a former model, I was told I was too short and couldn’t do it! Guest what? Signed with one of the biggest agencies “Wilhelmina” and earned a living. I was told I couldn’t do TV commercial because I had an African Accent, well I did over 20 national commercials. As a women that looks a certain way, I’m told I cannot kick ass in the food industry doing imports, I think I’m doing just that. Keep your eyes on the prize....
